Before you friend me, check out this post, and comment to let me know how you found me and which filters you want to be on. If I know you from somewhere, or we have something in common, I’ll be happy to friend you. This is very much where I put whatever happens to be on my mind, so expect all kinds of randome thoughts and general rambling. You will also find swearing and "adult themes" (no, nothing naughty, get your mind out of the gutter!), and depending which filters you're on, you might find a lot of updates some days. I try to always use LJ-cuts for longer entries though.
I’m an open-minded person, and I may well be talking about gender issues, esoteric things, Paganism and all sorts of "controversial" (ahem!) topics. Be prepared to show mutual respect and tolerance and we’ll get along fine.
I've seen so many journals descend into drama, and I'm just not interested. Respectfully having differing opinions is fine, but starting fights, or flaming me or anyone I care about, is not. If you want to de-friend me, I don't have a problem with that. A note saying why is nice, but it’s not necessary. I promise not to start any drama on your journal!

| The Life |
| Currently living in Devon, Southwest England, in a quiet little market town where people still know what community is. I have some great friends, and my yearly holiday is a camping trip - yes, I really am into all that "living lightly" stuff! I've been married for nearly six years to a wonderful man, my best friend, who I love to bits. I'm currently working as a Copywriter for a small but dynamic agency. I'm a fighter, and I've fought to have a good life, and while I may not be rich in monetary terms (yet!) I am, as the cliche goes, rich in many other ways. |

| I've been writing my whole life, just for the joy of it. I write poetry and dark fantasy fiction. When other children wanted to use their free time to play in the sandpit, I wanted to write - I even won a medal at school for it! I'm not saying I'm the next J K Rowling, I just adore doing it. I'm having a wonderful time, and I've met some incredibly creative and inspirational people. I'm also addicted to Summerdash word wars where we all spur each other on to greater things!
